Legacy Cast Iron was born from Legacy Machine & Design, founded in 2018 with one clear vision: bring CNC precision to an American tradition. Our founder John brought over 30 years of hands-on experience as a CNC programmer and foundry tooling builder — and applied that expertise to cast iron in a way no one had done before. We became the pioneers of the 3D-machined cast iron skillet, and we haven't looked back.

Every skillet we produce is machined, not mass-produced, and seasoned by hand. There are no templates here. Every design is original, every detail intentional — from the smooth, precision-machined cooking surface to the custom engraved exterior. If you can imagine it, we can create it.
